Keep cleaning!
- INDOOR: Dirty coils inhibit heat transfer and encourage bacteria growth. This bacteria can cause the “dirty sock” syndrome.

- OUTDOOR: Totally unrestricted air flow over outdoor coil is the key. Keep weeds and shrubs away from unit where the fan can pull it into the coil.

Freon levels
- The average Air Conditioning system has six pounds of R-22 freon. As little as twelve ounces low can effect operating output by twenty-five percent. Freon is what cools that hard working compressor motor locked inside the “black can”.

Clean your drain
-A clogged drain can cause serious damage when condensation overflows the drain pan.

Fan Blades
-Cracked or out-of-balance blades can vibrate the unit causing excessive wear, freon leaks, and bearing failure. Check it often.
